Music : No borders ! Ever!

Legendary world music band

Worldwide representation ( excl. Mexico )

Here we are, beyond happy to represent this great band from Mexico, LOS DE ABAJO,

They have released eight studio albums, two of them edited by Luaka Bop (the record label of David Byrne, ex-vocalist of the Talking Heads), one of which was produced by Macaco and led them to win the award "Best Group of the Americas" at the World Music Awards from the BBC in London (2003), besides an album edited by Real World (Peter Gabriel's record label)

26 tours in more than 30 countries, and mainstream festivals that have allowed them to transcend and place Mexico and its popular culture on the map .. in short damn well fantastic and audience pleasing without a doubt.

Live they are quite remarkable

"the exact opposite of Easy Listening music - terror of terrors of all Russian folk music societies - stands for fat Austrian Polka beats. The group members are the most illustrious musicians of the Alpine region, who possess a colourful mix of cultural backgrounds. They pour these various cultural influences into a postmodern version of Russian folk and spread their distinctive music all over Europe. It is sweaty and shouts out loud: Dance Dance Dance! It is a clash of trash metal, world jazz, funky stuff and Frank Zappa-esque Rock.

Legendary DJ and BBC broadcaster

Andy Kershaw doesn't follow. He leads. A DJ who breaks the rules and dares to play something different: irresistible dance music from around Africa, the Caribbean, and Latin America - Soukouss to Salsa, Roots Reggae to Rai, Soca to South African Township Jive. And all points in between.
With a rich history of broadcasting from his iconic BBC programmes to much much more we can offer Andy as one of the best DJ's on the planet for planet music and in his one man show recounting anecdotes of the wildest kind and from his book "No off switch"
